What if I need to have witnesses for my notarization? If same-day hospital notary services require you to have witnesses, (usually for the signing of a Last Will and Testament), that will involve having quite a number of people in the hospital room for your notary services. Please seek out permission from the head floor nurse for you to have multiple people in the hospital room before Mobile Notary of Seattle arrives.
What should I do if my signature isn't very readable? Worried about your ability or the patient’s ability to physically sign and date documents due to stroke, injury, illness, advanced age or any other reason? The State of Washington has provisions in its notary laws (RCW42.45.070) to overcome this obstacle. Please feel free to ask us about this when you call about our notary services.
You or your loved ones will be in good hands with Mobile Notary of Seattle – We have extensive experience working in Assisted Living environments. We are known to be particularly sensitive and caring with a gentle bedside manner when offering hospital notary services to patients.

Payment Terms: Considering the oftentimes emergent nature of hospital notarizations, Mobile Notary of Seattle will not take the time to ask for payment in advance. If, however, the notary arrives and one of the above three conditions has not been met, the notary will charge you the full service fee – plus applicable parking and/or toll fees - for making the trip to the hospital.
Witnesses: It is best if you can provide your own witnesses. These can be anyone over the age of 18 and are mentally sound. Witnesses should not be blood relatives and must not be anyone who could be a beneficiary, either directly or indirectly. Healthcare workers and hospital volunteers are not allowed to be witnesses. Under some circumstances, Mobile Notary of Seattle may be able to provide witnesses. An extra charge of $70 per witness, paid directly to that witness at the time of service, will be applied.
